 If you are aware that changing some habits of daily living can improve it, read and practice these ten tips!

1. Physical Fitness - Do physical exercise regularly, at least three times a week for 30 minutes. Choose what you like best: swimming, jogging or cycling.

2. Walking - Walking is healthy and economical. When you have to go from place to place, you better go on foot than by car or bus.

3. Healthy Diet - Use healthy, balanced, varied and sufficient nutrition. Fruits, vegetables and salads should not be missing from the table.

4. Five meals a day - Eat five times a day. It is recommended to eat few and often.

5. Fresh foods - Preferably use fresh foods, as processed foods (cooked or canned) generally have a lot of salt.

6. Mass Salt - If you have arterial hypertension, reduce salt use. Instead, you can use spices or aromatic herbs to flavor the food.

7. Healthy Eating - Eat slowly, waiting 1 minute between bites. Pour into the plate the required amount of food and no more.

8. Good Hydration - Drink water regularly. Drink 1.5 to 2 liters of water.

9. Just less alcohol & Limit alcohol consumption as much as possible because of its high caloric content.

10. Quit Smoking - One of the main tips is to quit smoking if you smoke. Quitting smoking will be very healthy for the heart.
