Top 4 Autumn Main Dish Salad Recipes

Let's face it, as much as you might like the crisp and cool days of fall, today it is more likely to be hot and even humid. It's nearing the end of September, and the high in the upper Midwest will be 80 degrees, 20 degrees above "normal" tomorrow. So I make another main course salad because although I want to make a meatloaf, it just seems unnecessary in this weather.

But it's just delicious - I love these recipes. And it's much easier to make a salad dressing that brings a meal with the main course, side dish and salad. These wonderful salads are cool and tasty and hearty enough to satisfy even the hungry teen. Just bring it to the fridge and let them serve themselves; no work for you! I chose the ones that use the product and ingredients of fall. Enjoy it!
